MURINA Wave the Brain EP
Murina (“growl” in Finnish) is an Italian/Finnish noise rock duo based in Barcelona formed by Martina de Lugnani (voice/bass) and Laura Vainio (drums).
Wave the Brain is the band’s second EP.
Martina’s bass growls, roars and viciously cuts across its own noise. Meanwhile Laura makes the gears of the songs turn with her precise and robust beats. Martina’s voice and words make for a dark and deadly finish. Their sound is organic, direct and visceral, captured as such on this EP which was recorded, mixed and mastered by Milo Gomberoff at Studio Hukot.
